Orland Park: 2nd Floor Flooring Installation & Staircase Renovation

This remodel was completed in a spacious home in Orland Park. We removed the carpet from the entire 2nd floor and installed new 4-inch red oak flooring. Two main stair posts were replaced with paintable box newels, and we refinished the stair treads and existing handrails. The spindles were upgraded to modern plain square iron spindles. New red oak flooring was added to the office, dining, and living rooms, with everything refinished and sealed using Bona Natural Seal and Bona Traffic satin sheen. Additionally, we installed 4-inch pine baseboards and shoe molding. The painters updated all existing trim, stair risers, skirts, and posts to a fresh white finish.
